I am passionate about working with clients to help bring new and revealing insights about their situation and challenges faced.

I facilitate the difficult conversations to create challenge and growth for individuals, teams and businesses - generating commitment and accountability to enable changes in thinking and behaviour that are required for success.

My work is dynamic and underpinned by contemporary approaches drawn from my broad experience and supported by world class instruments and a network of experienced and like-minded associates.

Whether for organisational, team or individual clients, I adopt a systemic approach which looks underneath the symptoms to reveal the causes and from there explore what is needed to move forward successfully and create a lasting positive impact.

It is about asking the right questions to build an understanding of the context, the relationships and most importantly what is it the client really wants to achieve. This brings clarity, often revealing something not previously considered and taking the work in a completely different and unexpected direction.

For organisational and team work, it is recognising what has been, what is and what resources are available to shape the future whilst bringing the order and alignment needed for success.

Building trust and creating a safe space to have the necessary difficult conversations is a primary focus. Where there are blocks, hearing all sides of the story to create new perspectives and find an agreed way forward is essential in obtaining both team and individual commitments to change.

In one-on-one coaching, the answers already lie within. My role is to help create an awareness, then provide tools which support the development and application of leadership thinking and behaviour in everyday life.

The focus of my coaching and leadership development is supporting change and personal growth - giving people the tools to put their learnings into practice and move from avoiding stress to aiming to flourish and thrive in their lives.

Follow-up is always incorporated to create reflection as a basis for learning. This helps hold individuals and teams accountable and is where the greatest learning and growth takes place.

Meet Murray Wright

As a coach, facilitator and consultant, I am able to bring my many years of business experience, training and practice to connect well with people across a wide range of businesses and cultures to deliver meaningful outcomes.

My why is to be a catalyst for positive change and growth in individuals and teams that creates positive impact across the business.

I continue to develop and challenge myself and look to make my work fun, if it is not fun, I do my best to make it fun, if that does not work I stop it!


I facilitate strategic development, create change and alignment underpinned by the leadership behaviours that have an enduring positive impact on the business and the people it touches.

My experience

I have worked in Europe, the Middle-East, South-East Asia and Australia in leadership roles in international and national hotels with experience in tertiary education and consulting.

I consult to hospitality and small to medium sized businesses. I have been coaching and facilitating for 10 years within hospitality, real estate, not for profit, telecommunications and government.

My Qualifications & Accreditations

I have a university degree and life experience. I am an accredited coach with the Institute of Coaching and Leadership in Sydney and the International Coaching Federation. I have trained in Systems Dynamics and Organisational Constellations.

I am accredited by Human Synergistics to use Lifestyles Inventory (LSI), Leadership Impact (LI) and Group Styles Inventory (GSI) assessment tools. As well as Everything DiSC and Hermann International’s Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI). For the strategy work I do, I use the Strategy Connect process.

I read a lot and work hard to put into practice what I preach (I know it’s not always easy!).

I work to create a safe but challenging environment that taps into the shared knowledge and experience in the room. Experiential learning supports reflection, the creation of awareness and the embodiment of knew knowledge and skills. I also like to bring a bit of fun into what I do.

At the end of whatever work I am doing there will be commitment to agreed actions with responsibilities clearly stated.

All work done is surveyed to measure impact and assist in understanding the best next steps to support change. The surveys provide invaluable insights to evolve and develop my own practice.
